I really did shower in the rain once outside of Genoa, Italy. It rained so hard that a nice, strong stream of water came rolling off of a tarp we'd set up to keep our stuff dry. The euphoria of the moment quickly dwindled when we realized the rain wasn't slowing down and when we lifted up our stuff to move to higher ground a veritable river swooshed around our ankles. We slept in a puddle that night. The evidence and destruction of some major flooding that we saw as we rode into Genoa the next morning, however, left us feeling pretty lucky to just have a bunch of bags full of drenched equipment. That was the one time that even my fiddle got a little wet.
lyrics
If I knew what I know now
Wouldn't matter anyhow
If I knew what I know now
I'd do it all over
I'd do it all over
I'd struggle through the pain
I'd do it all over
Fall down and get up again
I'd do it all over
I'd shower in the rain
I'd do it all over
Life is just one crazy game
If I knew what I know now
Wouldn't matter anyhow
If I knew what I know now
I'd do it all over
I'd do it all over
I'd think that you're the one
I'd do it all over
Stare straight at the rising sun
I'd do it all over
Love til my heart gets sore
I'd do it all over
Eat til I can't eat no more
